Notary Public Stamp / Seal Requirements:
Embosser or rubber-inked stamp. Required elements: Name of Notary, the words “Notary Public” and “South Dakota.” The seal should have a border.
A rubber stamp must contain the word “Seal.”
“My commission expires: (date)” must be written / printed below the seal’s imprint. The expiration date cannot be part of the seal imprint.
Ink color should be capable of being reproduced clearly by black / white scan, photocopy or other visible and legible means.
